Overall Wedding Thank You's~ Murfreesboro, TN Photography

Another images I am finally able to share! Katie wanted to use a chalkboard to write Thank You on and send out as Christmas Cards/Thank You's to the guests. Well I've been meaning to use a chalkboard prop for a while now so this was perfect! I couldn't find one I liked for the right price so I made my own. Bought the unfinished wood frame from Hobby Lobby 1/2 price & the ribbon from Michael's. Add a hot glue gun and voila! Perfect. Elegant. Chalkboard.

With a Touch of Southern.

Our 2010 Year In Review

As I mentioned HERE I wanted to make a photobook of my family once a year. I found these AH-Mazing ideas for Year in Review Books of your family in the Shutterfly community. Just so happens that The Hubs had brought home a coupon from Shutterfly for a free photobook! They are one of Dell's business accounts & I jumped all over that! I've gotten through May so far but, wanted to share a little of what I've been working on. Here is my January Spread.

And here's what the spread will look like when It's printed!!

I'm definitely doing one of these every year and can't wait to share the rest!

Santa Baby ~ Murfreesboro, TN Photography

Keeping photos under wraps until families get their Christmas cards out is very difficult to say the least! When I see something like these images below I just wanna share them with everyone. ESPECIALLY when the little bugger looks as adorable in a Santa hat as this little fella! You might remember him from his 3 Month Session just a few weeks ago. Mom was waiting on this adorable handmade hat to come in to get their official Christmas card shot so, I obliged when she asked if I'd come snap a few when it arrived. And I mean look at this kid!

I have no idea how she chose one for the card. I was there for just a few minutes before I had to run and I got soooo many images of him & his hat. I have no idea how she chose but, she did. The cards are out & they are precious.

The Staples~ Murfreesboro, TN Photography

I finally had the pleasure of photographing The Staples Family!
Now that they've moved back to our neck of the woods it was time for some family shots.
This was one of the lucky families that took advantage of an LRP Mini Session.
Totally worth it by the way;)
I wanted to venture out to a spot I hadn't been to in almost exactly a year!
Why haven't I been using this spot more often?
It's absolutely gorgeous!
~Don't Forget! 20 Comments for the Staples gets them a super awesome gift~

These next 2 are probably my favorites.
Mom said the girl loves her books so I brought one for her to read.

Only, I should have saved it for the end because when we tried to take it away
this happened...
Sad but, still adorable!

Precious family inside & out!
~Lots of Love~

Benton & Katie Got Married (Part I)~Murfreesboro, TN Photography

I came away from this wedding with over 700 images &
had a very difficult time narrowing that number down!
This day was filled with sooo many emotions.
The father giving away his only little girl.
The mother who gained a daughter-in-law.
The remembering of those that are no longer with us.
The tears of happiness shed by a little girl gaining a new step-dad.
The overwhelming bond felt by this new Family of 3.
I guess these are emotions that are felt at most weddings but,
for some reason, they felt much stronger at this one.
Because I got so many images I'm splitting them up into 3 Blog Posts.

So What Do We Get If Our Blog Post Gets to 20 Comments??

I'm glad you asked!! I thought & thought & thought about this one.
I had a few ideas but, they just weren't personal enough to me. Then it hit me.
I remembered seeing these adorable 3x3 albums a while back and always wanted to try them out. They are customized (by me) to each client, fit perfectly in your purse & come in sets of 3!! That means you can keep one & give the other 2 as gifts to family members. You know grandma would love having something she can carry around and show off.
Just look how cute they are:

This was my first test one for The Moody's to make sure I loved how they came out &
yep, they're a winner!
Photos are crisp & colors are rich.
They have a concealed magnet for soft closure.
And just in case you were wondering, this is what the other side looked like. I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it away!
So there you have it.
If you're post gets 20 comments you'll get 3 of these bad boys personalized by muah.

Erin Expecting ~ Murfreesboro, TN Maternity Photographer

Oh where to begin with this beautiful lady...she was my first real friend.
My family built a house next to hers when I was around 8.
The next decade or so had us carpooling, family tripping, sharing laughs, love & tears.
You name it, we've been through it. I heart her entire family. Grandparents & cousins included.
I was beyond thrilled to get her message that she wanted me to do her photos for such a special time in their lives. Even though they live 5 hours away, we were going to make this work. And I would be the one that captured the anticipation & excitement this time brings!
Erin, you look absolutely gorgeous!
Keith, you're definitely workin' that half smile.
And I can't wait to meet Baby R!
I have a gut feeling she will have huge brown eyes, thick brown hair and a sprinkle of freckles.
~20 Comments on this post gets The Roberts a sweet little gift~

Leave Them Some Love!
