Where to start with this family?? Miss Macy's mom & I have been friends for quite sometime now and I adore her. She has an amazing heart, isn't afraid to speak her mind & is always level-headed (well, most of the time;). Our sons are buddies and now our daughters will be too!
We met very early one morning and went roaming some local parks. It got very hot very quick but it didn't phase Miss Macy. She got a tad fussy once, put herself to sleep for a bit and voila! Perfect Angel again!

Twin Sisters Home

About a week or so ago I got a call from my cousin. He was planning on selling his house! GASP! I couldn't beleieve it! He needed photos of it for promotional stuff. That's where I come in. It is beyond gorgeous with original doors, baseboards and hardwood flooring. Even the doorknobs are original. It lives right off the square in a town where everybody knows your name. This house dates back to the late 1800's and is known as the Twin Sisters House. There's a story that many moons ago, twin sisters built it and the one right across the street. They are pretty much identical houses.

Normally, I wouldn't show a photo shoot like this but, My Oh My This House!!!

I just had to share.

Don't you just want to sit on that porch with a

big slice of watermelon and chat with your neighbors!?

Look at that wood! It's everywhere and it's beautiful!

This bathroom has the original window frame, tile work and mini cabinets.

The "study". I coud definitely get some studying done in there!

Floor to ceiling bookcases and yummy light. Mmmmm

I could sit in this room and read or listen to music or play with the kiddos ALL DAY!

This is the sunroom if you can't tell.

Out from the sunrrom is the screened in patio that looks out onto the HUGE backyard complete with inground pool, vegetable garden and composting center.

I mean really, can you get any more relaxing than this? I think not.

I met this beautiful lady while working at my other job. She has recently turned 25 and wanted to do something for just her. To celebrate the person she's become and to document this moment in her life. I don't even think she told her hubby about this shoot!

I was BEYOND thrilled she asked me to capture this for her! I mean, really, how many times do we (myself included) put off pictures of ourselves because we have nothing to wear or we just aren't the right weight or we just plain don't feel pretty enough! Before you know it that era of your life is over. Not for this lady!

She seized the moment and, for that, I envy her.

That and the fact she kept busting out with these fabulous shoes!

I had a blast girl! Seriously, I NEED to borrow those yellow shoes!

Pregnancy Glow ~ MURFREESBORO, TN MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

I knew this shoot was gonna be AWESOME with a capitol AWE when Autumn sent me some ideas for what she liked! By the looks of things she was up for pretty much anything and she's got the body to rock it! I saved some of the more "special" ones for just mom & dad.

A little backstory, Autumn was one of my very first friends freshman year of high school. We hit it off immediately *ahem when I asked her for a pencil in ART class ahem* and have been friends ever since. We've gone through a lot together and been there for each other for even more. I am so honored that she wanted me to capture this time in their lives. Can't wait to meet you Baby Ethan!!

Help Me Pick A Canvas!

If you've ever attempted to get a good photo of your kids you know how difficult it can be. I'm not just talking about a good photo you can send via the web or print off as a 5x7 or 8x10. I'm talking a canvas worthy photo people! This is hard for everyone INCLUDING those that actually photograph other peoples families for a living! Why is it so much harder to get a photo of my own kids but, with others there's no trouble?

Well, I think I may have actually gotten 1 out of the bunch I just can't decide which one I like best! So I need your help. Which photo below do you think would look best as a large canvas for my home:
